In Germany, cars are treated very differently than in our region – they receive regular maintenance, are often kept in garages, and usually have far fewer scratches or hidden issues. On top of that, German roads are in much better condition, so cars don’t suffer as much wear and tear. Most importantly, tampering with mileage is a criminal offense there, so sellers rarely risk it. I personally bring you only the best cars we select together. And if you find a car yourself, I’ll inspect it thoroughly to make sure it matches the listing – no tricks, just honesty and a true picture of the vehicle’s condition.
No problem. In that case, you only cover the inspection cost – a so-called “wasted trip” fee of CZK 6,000–12,000 (depending on the car’s value). In return, you’ll get a detailed inspection report, 40–80 photos, and a video (if the seller allows it). Most importantly, you’ll benefit from nearly 30 years of my experience. I speak fluent German and can usually spot when a seller isn’t being honest – which can save you a lot of money and stress.
It depends on where the car is located. For common regions like Nuremberg, I can usually bring a car within 2–3 business days. For more distant areas such as Munich, Stuttgart, or Frankfurt, it typically takes 1–2 weeks. Quite often, clients send me a car listing in a region I’m already planning to visit, which allows me to check multiple cars at once and speed things up. Experience and good planning make all the difference – and that’s exactly what I bring to the table.
In most cases, I’ll have to say no – I focus on areas where I have trusted partners, contacts, and first-hand experience. Exceptions are possible if it’s a truly unique car that can’t easily be found elsewhere. In some cases, I can recommend a trusted partner company that I personally work with and regularly oversee. They can inspect the car, handle the purchase, transport it to the Czech Republic, and even arrange a valid warranty here.
